Ya, M'sia always cheaper, especially in penang.
Now the exchange rate is good. It was about 2.32 a few month ago.

Now Canon M'sia still have 1+2 warranty until Dec 31 if not wrong...

If you read the specs from Canon USA, the camera does support true aspect ratio such as:

4:3
3:2
16:9
1:1
4:5

Your choice...

what do you do with your pics? Develop into prints? Then consider the print size.

4R, S8R and S10R would be better with 2:3
6R is 3:4
8R is 4:5

I bought my S95 at Parisilk HV yesterday evening, there wasn't much people in the shop but the indian guy who served me didn't even bother to open up the box to show me the contents and stuff. Took my cash and issued me a receipt and I still have to even ask him for a carrier bag. Lol seriously probably i'm just unlucky to be served by him.

Just brought S95 a few days ago.
It is a great cam in P&S standard.:thumbsup:

IQ is good up to iso 800 with no flash.
HD movie is v.smooth & great at f/2, but then i decide to use 640x480 to save file size.
Browsing/zooming thorugh the images is fast & quick on a class 10 SDHC !

Hopyfully, s100 will have burst mode, 24mm, fill flash

It can't play/recognised mov recorded from 60D, but 16mp jpeg viewing is ok.:think:

I'm not sure its really geninue or not. :think:
BUT
my default battery was usually originated from Canon, i would usually go for 3rd party battery for my backup battery. So far it had not failed me.

Any 3rd party battery bros here facing critical problem, like explosion??? :dunno:
