Canon Powershot S95

Got my S95 last month for korea trip
Price from AP SGD580+3rd party battery SGD20

Satisfy with the outcome in Korea winter trip....

I tried my luck at Parisilk at Transit Road (it's just a walk away from my house) & the guy said they could bring a set in for me from another branch So he got a set in 1 day after. And I got the brown casing & SD card the following day. Total was $588 in cash ! The standard box & the brown case as well as an 8gb SD card But it's kinda weird 'cos my friend paid $599. :O


But I'm pretty happy with the camera so far ! The pictures look really awesome even without photography skills Oh and I bought the screen protector and battery from the shop recommended by the above people ! Cheap & good ! :thumbsup:

LX5 if it's my only camera, S95 for backup camera to DSLR or as a carry-everywhere-you-go camera.

Both will perform equally good But Canon free software for RAW conversion is easier to use. My cents worth.

I have tried the LX5, but did not explore. Just changed the modes. Haven't got a chance to explore the S95 yet. Nevertheless, thank you!

i am a nikon user! Hv try nikon, canon ( own a canon compact camera) & Panasonic's customer service! canon service is far the better than two of them.

Just bought an S95 from Wing Shing Hong Kong, S$515 include 8gb SD card, mini grollia tripod and case.

Hong Kong 1 year warranty can be transferred to a 6mth Limited international warranty. Only problem was that this can only be done if you bring the camera to Canon Center at TST HK with recieipts. They will do some admendments to the warranty card.

I believe its only valid for small point and shoot cameras.
