NEX-5 definitely better... but not for portability.

I personally went down to Courts to take a look at S95, in terms of size, it seems like there's no difference. Just need to check, it's not AA battery operated right? The official site says it is using AA batteries, which got me baffled?

Not AA batt. is the Lithium one NB-6L which is same as S90.

s95 use same lithium ion. The website is totally wrong. The product manager who furnish the wrong info ought to be shot.

I do not own S90 but after tried out S95 at Canon vivocity, I was impressed by the quality and function for this small poison. Moreover, the price is cheaper than S90.:thumbsup:

Tempted to purchase to suplement my DSLR.

Having changed from s90 to s95, I can the see and feel the diff very well.

The s95 is abit thinner. Just a bit but you can feel the diff (though its not impt to me).

The rear dial is so much better, you wont accidentally turn it anymore (Though it should be made tighter some more for more solid feel)

The HD video is amazing. In the past, you view your (640 X 480) video only as a small portion on your screen but now, the video fill up your ENTIRE computer screen.

Hybrid IS is another plus.

I Tested the S90 before and the ISO800 is very usable. which means, S95 will be same as well...

they said $599 comes with 8gb only, but is fine for me.

Yes, I was there yesterday night and tried the S95. IQ is nice. I thinking of getting one during the upcoming COMEX. Anyone bought camera during the IT fair or COMEX before? What perk will we get?

the case is a 'cheap, 2 dollar case'.
not worth anything except for maybe holding the camera at your flat or for long distance travel...
not something you'd carry the case in when you're out and about shooting...

We'll see what specials comex brings;

If nothing special, will try to buy: w/ 16GB card.
I'll let you guys know what the deal ends up being;
