Wow Damien, the second video is so cool! How did you add the blur and make the vehicles move so fast?

Thanks...

I was tempt to buy S95 until my friend show me his Lumix Tz10. Fantastic IQ and super zoom but the body is not something sexy as compare to S95. Make me very indecisive now. Anyone have the same dilemma?

The video was uploaded by someone else.

No lag, if there's any on Youtube it would be your Internet connection. Anyway the video looks good from my lowly 2Mbps mobile broadband connection.

So has anyone done a comparison of the noise levels between the S90 and S95?

I'm guessing they are the same? Or does the HS system of the S95 really help to cut down significantly on the noise....

Here's another sample on Vimeo. Looks good.

I think the video lag is due to youtube (see below).

Some quick test shots of the S95. ISO 800 looks pretty clean and usable:

Two more :bsmilie:

They were taken at Japanese Dining Sun at Chijmes, which was quite dim. The low light performance of the S95 is pretty impressive for a compact cam.

from his pics, can see that S95 corner sharpness is not as good as the lx5.

Very nice pics taken by the S95 you guys have there! I owned the LX3 before and was really disappointed by its ISO performance at 800 so I am pretty pleased to see the S95 producing acceptable pics at ISO 800.

Now that I'm exploring my S95, there're some functions which I'm not familiar with and hope u guys can help me out. I saw this Dynamic Range Correction (DR correction), what is it and when to use it? Read the manual but still dun understand...

Hey can ask u guys, I read that the S95 can't do optical zoom or autofocus during HD video recording. Does that mean that when taking videos, it will be fixed at 28mm? Or I can zoom to the distance I want 1st then activate video recording?

I think it will stick at the initial 'focal length' when you shoot video.
Other user please confirm this.

From what I read from the online user manual, it stated the video is recorded in stereo.
I read somewhere stated the LX-5's video is recorded in mono.

Can any user please confirm this? thanks
