Canon should use the fujifilm super CCD exr sensor on their G11. Then can do high resolution or high sensitivity in the same camera. ;p

Actually, they released a few PnS along with the G11... now where's the EOS release.

The PowerShot series has never failed to confuse me... S90, S-Series, SX10, SX1IS, SD-Series, G yada yada

whaa, like that uh ... the non-Canon people will be even more confused

Not yet.

But I expect the performance to be similar since they are using the same CCD sensor and the same Digic processor - hence, same noise performance. The only diff AFAIK is that the S90 has a f2.0 lens on the wide end and so I would expect it to have higher shutter speed / option to use lower ISO in low light given the same condition as the G11.:thumbsup:

Either ways, if ISO1600 is useable then it would be a really good camera - both the G11 & S90. These RAW images are pre-production samples so its good to wait for latest production samples...
