Owned an Epson 810 for about 6 years, since day 1 spending every other weekend declogging the darn thing, and each time I run the declogging cycle (need to do it 5-6 times to clear everything), uses up $10 of ink. I was spending a fortune on ink (1 black and 1 colour costs about $60) like $300 a year and after this nightmare ..... sometimes the $60 only lasts a month and not that many prints because most of the ink was used declogging the printhead. Towards the end there was also a lot of streaking.... so I junked it.
Bought a Canon iP4680 and after 3 months, has NEVER clogged. Because I don't have to declog the printer, the ink lasts much longer, and it has never missed a beat. I expect to cut my ink costs by half (am still running on the originals that came with the printer).
I know the new Epsons are better, but I cannot forgive them....
