Yo all! I just called 3 dealers and ask them for their best price if there are 14 buyers.

Prices inclusive of 7% GST with 8G card, cash payment as follows:

MS - $765
AP - $770.40
Parisilk - $759.70

I didn't ask about the lens. But I suppose if everyone (unity is strength) goes down to the shop, they may be overwhelmed sufficiently to give more?

Not Sure I should let your know this. 2 weeks ago I check the shop in the peninsula Plaza. He quoted me S$720. I check with him is it a local set and he say yes. I only wanted to buy one set. and I can get this price.Surprise me when I see what your hunting for.:think:

Sure, it the one on the ground floor next to the second hand shop. GST included but I can't remember he say it is a 4gb or 2gb card. Anyway please check it out yourself I may be wrong.

I also thinking of getting one set. but wanted to wait till Sitex. But I doubt Havey Norman can give any better offer except slightly more free gift

I tested out myself in Havey Norman. I think it is pretty nice. Not sure to wait until Sitex or not. I remember last time G9 sold until no stock. That is why I end up buying Nikon 5100.

i went to the safari food and home electronics fair at suntec level 4 yesterday
G10 is selling at 869 (canon recommended retail price) with a

1) 8 gig card X 2 pieces
2) case
3) mini tripod and cleaning kit
4) screen protector

i do not think that 1 piece of 8 gig card ($26) + case + mini tripod and cleaning case and protector is worth $149? ($149 on the assumption that now the cheapest is $720)

i believe that sitex will be giving out similar offers. and with similar freebies.
i think we can just get it at peninsular

what do you all think?
