Hi guys. This is my first post and I too am trying to decide between the 350D and 400D. I'm leaning towards saving the money and getting the 350D since I'm quite a newbie as far as dSLRs are concerned. Your feedback to this thread is great.

good morning! i've been part of CS for like almost 9months now. and i'll be getting my first camera and first dslr today. a 3rd hand 350d. yups. =) depends on your level and passion for photography, i would say 350 is a very good entry level dslr to start with.

AP is selling the 350D for around $1.2k and $160 for the battery grip... total less than $1.5 for the whole package! :bigeyes: Rem when I paid almost $1.8 for the whole package last year!

350D definitely good buy for what its worth! :thumbsup:

frankling speaking, for a cam like 350D which lacks a number of essential functions and build as compared to the D70s, it is expected that its price would go down tremendously..the current price is still too high for 350D..not worth it.

Nothing surprising.

Look at how the D70s, which has real power, held its ground until now.
