U want solid? 1DsMkII. The most solid of 'em all.nicekit said:well i can see why i will decide 400D over 350D even it is much more expensive... cuz
when i touch the 350D.. it feels very cheap and like badly made plastic....
when i touch the 400D.. it feels better and have a better solid built than 350D...
need to touch the nikon D80 b4 i can make decision![]()
kruder said:I have finally come to a decision and thank you everyone for their kind and useful advice. Been talking to people and looking around, I have decided to get the 400D. Even though both cameras take good pictures, and the price of 350D is tempting, I have a feeling that I will regret if I get the 350D and I believe it has a longer shelf life as compared to 350D which will be replaced by 400D eventually.
Next step, to get the best price for the camera!! Any essential accessories to get? Do you think it's advisable to get a spare battery?![]()

happyham said:just body n kit, maybe if u regular, can squeeze out more?

nicekit said:oh dun have the extra CF and the bag?
hmm sounds good..
cuz with 2X 1GB CF, you end up swapping the CF Cards..
unless there's some disadvantages of having the 2GB CF card..![]()

ST1100 said:$300 diff not worth it for large LCD and anti-dust... are u guys kidding me? i would definitely pay the extra measly $300 for the big LCD and anti-dust. i think a lot of folks would too. In the photography world (and i mean this quite seriously), $300 is almost loose change.
Heck, Canon came up with 1DmkIIN just to throw in a bigger LCD. Anyway, to each his own.
Getting a new 350D makes no sense at this point in time. Either spring for a new 400D, or go for a sub-$1k 350D in the buy-sell forum. Plenty of them around.
