I see. The way you shoot this picture is really good as the softness of the light directs well onto your focus area of the subject.

I still got a long way to learn...

Saw an UWA for grab at BnS... but I still dun have that pile of money... :(

Price is a bit high... I got my UWA + HMC filter + hood for $850.

what u want to shoot?

Landscape, lakes, waterfalls, streams/rivers.
Read that stacking an inverted CPL on another CPL makes it work like a variable ND filter. So instead of buying so many filters (or plate-based filter system), just get 2xCPL + reverse ring. What's your opinion?

Natural lighting is the best. ;)

i find it very complex and not able to control what u want to achieve when using 2xcpl.
if i were u, i will just get the ND8. try changing ISO to achieve the results u want.

remember when i first wanna purchase 450D its for my cousin's wedding in august, its back to haunt me. he withdrew the pro photographer and im now the main one. either i ruin their wedding or i start stepping up now :(

And I don't even know how to use 1 x CPL yet... makes sense.

What I'll probably be getting is:
Hoya ND8 77mm
Hoya CPL 77mm
58mm-77mm step-up ring

Do these kind of special-effect filters come in HMC varieties or are there only 1 type?

He withdrew the pro and turned to you. You got a heavy task to shoulder, bro.

But then again, it's also not your fault totally. Your cousin could have just kept the pro and you just shoot at your own and not inteferring with the pro.

Start looking through the wedding portfolios now and good luck.
