For uni, balloting for undergrad modules ended way back in 2003. Now with points-based bidding system, chiong also no point.
I kinda guessed the photowalk would be hot, so when I saw that sign-ups were open last night, I straight away signed up for it. Would appreciate it if you can let me know if and when registration re-opens. I've got a Tangshooter friend who also wants to join.

Although Premiere is quite loaded with features, I've always prefered Ulead Video Studio. Cheaper, easier to use and runs better on lower-end machines than Premiere can. Have been using every version since v2.

hmm adobe freaks me out, is it very unuser friendly as all its other brainchild?

Most Adobe software freaks me out. When I first learnt page-layout on Adobe PageMaker, I always got confused. Then when I switched my publication team to using MS Publisher, workflow was THAT much quicker with less heart pain.
Even now, I still am hesitating whether I should install PS CS3. I got the full web edition in '07 but still only using Acrobat Pro. Will eventually have to install PS for our sharing session next week, but I'm dreading it.
On Windows, Video Studio still runs best. Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere are too costly and are dog slow when scrobbing and editing.

true. thats why ive been using paint shop pro 7 for the pass 8 years. Grr, i need a software upgrade. Jasc has been bought by Corel now, so im running on something antique. hehee

Is it? I've been using the various versions of Video Editor for almost 10 years, and except for some versions in the middle, I've had 0 problems with it. The one I'm using now (v11.5 Pro) is perfect (for me at least). I think for most people, the problem lies between the keyboard and the chair.
Same thing for all those complaining about Vista. I wish I could have it on all the computers I use. I am looking forward to Windows 7 though.
Aiyah. I've been cutting down on all that *ahem* for quite some time now. Sometimes, it's just too much trouble to go find the correct *ahem* or workarounds to get things to work. I'm proud to say I'm almost 100% legit now. If I can't afford it, I just make do without it.
I should be the last one in that list.
My BBB is only for those cheap lenses.
No L lens and all of them are 3rd party lenses.
I will try to join tat session later.

I have used Ulead video studio and Sony Vegas 7.0 before.
I prefer Sony Vegas than the Ulead.
