Lightweight, stable, can be used as a walking stick and beat people = good monopod.

You don't want the monopod to break while to take shots from an elevation or get with super blur shakey awesome ugly fugly shots.

I thought of getting a manfrotto one. Can use it when i don't really need the tripod. Anyway. If you are intending to get one, we can get them together.

Manfrotto. It's not about the stick. It's about the quality you are buying. To me, paying good $$ for a superior quality equipment, I do not mind.

I'm getting mine soon. From Mass Sales section got good deals. Check them out.

Well, I planned ahead on the things I want to get. For this Manfrotto monopod, I saved up for 2 months already. It's for me to use it during this year's Singapore F1 GP. =D

trust me... monopod is seldom used, unless u always use long lens for shooting; eg in zoo & jbp.

Guys, a noob question.
When do we use lens hood? Why?

Yup but I will be bringing it to HK to use when I travel there come this June/July. I dun like the idea of deploying my tripod when on the move. Haha! :bsmilie:
