was there at bout 7 ba. walked around also nvr c u guys leh.

then i over heard ppl asking the guards wheres the fireworks so i aim there. saw many aiming at the wheel clueless that there'll be none there. lucky i setup tripod liao coz the fireworks fired off without warning.

Hm... fisheye effect doesn't really work well with fireworks.

For me, I think I should be borrowing my friend's 70-200 f2.8 then I go rent a 2x converter perhaps.

for birding, if u intend to use a 2x converter on f2.8, u will be losing 2-stops. that means, f2.8 will be effectively f5.6 equivalent. if u gonna use that for macro, i would suggest u to get an extension tube.

I was updating the list of shooters who had joined us for SSS before, got 20 plus wor. Some I dun have the number, I bet you should have them from our 1st SSS on V Day.

Both distortion and your location for shooting. I guess you have little choice over the latter since the firework is pretty low.

The distortion would be acceptable if you're isolating the fireworks only. Introduction of elements apart from fireworks will make the whole image looks weird though.

Just came back from my SSS, it started to rain and I decided to head to funan.

Bought a .... Canosca.... actually no.
Epson v500. :/

The only Canon stuff at home right now is, my $10 tripod. lol
