All L lens comes with Hood and Pouch. But if don't wish to 'injured' ur hood, can buy 3rd party hood to use. Very cheap.

No need to be sturdy, basic function is to prevent/ reduce flare. If wanna serve as protection against knocks, also tough enough. Next time if wanna sell the lens, people will not bargain with you for $10, $20 because of the scratches on the hood :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

I DIY-ed his ultimate bounce card. Love it after some test shots and had been using it ever since. You can buy through his website only.

There's quite a number of them at Mass Sales.
