85L...Tried once.
Fantastic lens but the AF speed is quite slow as compared to the F/1.8 version.
However the bokeh from it is just simply wonderful and easily poisoned by that lens once u try it. So go ahead and get it now...:devil:

Yup.
Last time when I joined the TFCD session at JB, got one guy who owns 85mm F/1.2L MKII, 50mm F/1.2L and 135mm F/2L. He lets me tried all those lenses. So, that is what I feel about the 85mm F/1.2L MKII lens.

Actually it is not that slow.
Just slower that the 85mm F/1.8.
AF speed is ok but not as fast as what I expert from Ring USM.
Maybe u can try that next time to experience it.

mk1 is SLOWER than mk2. thats for sure, but this bugger is not meant for fast moving subject. anyway, i still think this bugger is too much overprice for its usage but once u nailed a picture, surely you will fall flat for its bokeh!

Shot today's NE Show 2 with

5DMK2 + 70-200 f/2.8 & 450D + 16-35 f/2.8

Shot all in RAW. So have to wait awhile for pictures. I'm very very happy with 5DMK2 especially looking through the VF, it's a whole new experience seeing 98% of the true focal length.
