Sell it together. Depends on which version you wanna buy. Without IS ones are cheaper a bit.
A comparison test at the-digital-picture.com shows that the f/4 IS USM is the sharpest among the four. It's about $1.6k, a quote I got from MS, CP and AP 1 week ago. It comes with original hood but not the tripod mount collar.

Oh. The f4L IS version can buy you a f2.8, non IS.
Personally, f2.8 is nice, but the small DOF is irritating. Haha. f4 is good to shoot at.

I do drop by J3:16 too. Service is better than all but prices a bit steep. While you are paying for what you get.
I am ok with any but perhaps I should call myself a loyal CP customer. Bought 90% of my stuff there. The other 10% is OP. Haha!

It's a long story bro. I wanted to get a tripod. I thought MS colour was good. So i went to give it a try. But the people there treated me like i'm invisible. I want to ask, but they don't let me ask a question. They didn't even ask me the usual Singaporean phrase "what you want?" So i thought the main center people abit "bo chap", so i went to AMK Hub MS colour. I go there, no one to ask a question. Only 1 guy serving the customers, then the other guy also "bo chap" he sit there watching TV. The boss attended to me eventually, so i told him about how i was treated. Then he apologized, he as me go back to the main shop, as there weren't that many tripods at the AMK Hub MS colour. He gave me his card and wrote a person's name behind. He asked to look for that person. So i went back to the Main MS colour to look for that particular person. She told me she specializes only in Gitzo tripods....=.=....i've been going rounds already. So she refer me to another guy at the Main MS colour. He also "bo chap".....then whatever model i inquired on, he said no stock. Practically everything no stock. He was more interested in lighting his cigeratte and smoking at my face....How come? Got bad experience? Care to share?

So i left the shop, threw the card away. Just be careful when you buy a bag from the main store, because most of their lowepro bags are stored outside and even when it rains , they don't seem to put the bags inside the shop. Though it's not direct rain, moisture still can be absorbed by the bag. Imagine rain, then sunny, rain then sunny. Fading will occur and besides, arch enemy fungus will start to appear.
So that's my long story. Haha!

Yeah...true true....haha! Just 1 thing i don't really like at John 3:16, it's really crowded and it's hard to get hold of a sales guy. Haha...but they are nice people who give good advice. So i don't mind waiting even if it was crowded or slightly expensive. Haha.

CP is alright. But they like to use the phrase "What you want" alot. Haha....which can be irritating at times. But they are one of the more famous shops. Has been there for a very long time. I don't mind their shop either. They at least ask what you are looking for.
Some shops that i won't go to are:
Bally photo - They seem to have the attitude that you owe them something.
MS colour - Poor experience, but i might still go to get small items like bags.
Song Brothers - A "bo chap" store.

For me, once you establish a good record with a particular store, you tend to get better discounts, because of your loyalty. Doesn't work all the time, depends on the shop and the people.
