but the sigma got extra 50mm and macro. seems more like a all-in-one solution. (i know all-in-one don't exist in DSLR world, but stilll.. i am a poor student) ;p

Limited range for macro. And chances of you using tripod for macro shots with it is very high since the macro is only usable at tele end range.

And the ratio is 1:2 for macro, which still quite far from true macro.

It is actually cheaper to switch over to second-hand 5D then to buy Canon 10-22MM now. If you want to have ultra wide angle. or Fish eye.
