Thank you for the recommendation! If we can't get good shots with dogs running then the camera does not serve it purpose! Will definitely consider it when we are more comfy with the camera! Thanks!!!
Btw why do we need USM? According to our nooblet brains USM means no shutter sound for close up macros (insects?) LOL!!! Sorry if we sounds ridiculous!!!

if u're using ur kit lens, it shld be sufficient for shooting ur dogs. try to shoot more often and different subject then you'll know what lens you need eventually. from there can ask for further advice.
set it to TV mode which allows u to adjust ur shutter speed and exposure. personally i think 1/400 shld be enuff to freeze ur dog and any hand movements, but u're welcome to go up to 1/4000.
but if shooting indoors where there's limited light than good luck, unless u pop the flash (it limits u to 1/200 shutter speed though). i've tried setting 1/4000 in my room before and the turn out is a totally black image.

Put only your BEST as it represents you.
And research on the company on what they deal with most and try to arrange your portfolio accordingly, it may seems a bit fussy and bit of work but it's for the best of your benefit and chances of getting the job will be higher.

At the last thread/season, I was stating I will be holding a basic Using Photoshop to Enhance Your Photos session during my March holiday but I was also thinking if I should push it to this Saturday, 21 Feb.
