ok guys, my humble instructions on how to use ur neck strap to include a hand strap. (Need a Batt Grip). sorry for the really lousy pictures, took using my hp 2MP and one handed in certain shots!
Step 1:
Remove the bucket and the small strap holder thingie, and pass your strap through the top of your camera this way :
Step 2:
Insert the bucket and the strap holder into the strap like this:
Step 3:
Take the end of the strap and go through the bottom of ur Batt Grip's slot like this :
Step 4:
Pull the strap out and up from the BG's slot, and go back up. Then slot the strap into the bucket and pull to adjust. Adjust with your hand inserted to give enough space for your hand to move in and out.
You are done! hope it was clear enough the steps.

The thin strap will most likely cause discomfort for prolong usage. Looks kinda risky too. :sweat:
:think: Where's the rubber padded part?
Eh, this is a neck strap that loops thru the strap holes of the cam body to the grip ones. I doubt there's any padded part other than the neck one. :think:

I have yet to put on mine.
No idea. But Canon's E1 hand strap is very reliable.
Been using it for a long time and still going strong!
