Use 50mm f/1.8 with ISO 400 and above? And perhaps use a pop-up diffuser with your built-in flash.

Seems like over here 55-250 quite expensive. In Malaysia I could get RM720($300). Mmm.... Man, why this lens in Malaysia is cheaper

The $300 price is really very tempting since I go over the Malaysia quite often. I am currently torn between this lens or a flash.

I cannot foresee myself using much flash and tele also. But, when I see my friend's d90 with his 70-300mm, and he can zoom allllllllll the way to the person's face when we were at esplanade listening to some chinese orchestra, it blew me off. ;p

Flash? Learn a new aspect of photography lor.

But personally, I am a wide-angle person. Haha.. Saw the tokina 11-16 F2.8 Looks evil. ;p

then i move to tammy 18-250 b4 i gave dat away n chg to 17-40



maybe u can try my method? half press to AF on a subj b4 u switch to live view..

Another cheap stuff is Nissin Di622, at RM460($191), where over here is around $250?
