crazy sia, i just logged on again after 4 hours and the thread has went on and on...goodness me. anyway 119th bro, u really crack me up!! :bsmilie: laughed my head off when i saw all your comments!

anyway have fun with the SSS this sat. i very sian coz the MO delay again...i told shuttercentral i'll get mine on the next collection date. if not can meet ryan or possibly ninja whom i havent collected my screenie from.

well, although i only got a kit lens for now haa..

no problem de...I started off using 50mm only..

then i move to tammy 18-250 b4 i gave dat away n chg to 17-40

I find that using the Live View to shoot a clear pic is uberly challenging. Even more than thru the viewfinder even with IS on. Haha.. :bsmilie:

In Live View, to focus, you have to press the focus button, hold it to lock AF then press the shutter. By the time, the cow come home already. Haha! :bsmilie:

maybe u can try my method? half press to AF on a subj b4 u switch to live view..

Seems like over here 55-250 quite expensive. In Malaysia I could get RM720($300). Mmm.... Man, why this lens in Malaysia is cheaper

Sia lah, bro. I am here comtemplating to get it if can by tmr and you say Msia cheaper. Wah lau, $50+ lesser. With it plus a little top-up, I can spent on a B+W filter to go with the lens lor.

No point having a B+W filter on the lens. A Hoya one is fine.

$300 is tempting but a trip across the border. I dun think I'm doing it. Haha! Haiz, I think I shall buy at OP bah. Save $5 and get a hoya/tokina filter.

live view got a quick focus mode ma. in the menu settings. but it will flip the mirror or something like dat. too much of it duno will spoil the alignment or the mirror or not coz the flipping sound sounds harsh.
