I saw on the other thread that prices are going to go up after CNY.

Anyone still have yet to get their wishlist struck off, I bet you all gonna get them quick or spend more.

I'm going to get my 50mm f1.8 this week for sure and maybe a speedlite if my parents agree. Haha!

i need to get the 50mm by friday cause i need to shoot a gathering too.

hmm im looking at 24-105. i wonder is the macro good for that lens? what does this lens do? why so expensive?

This is a 'L' lens. Built-wise and image quality are superior.

It's generally for walkabout from wide to tele range. I never heard of anyone using it for macro yet. Anyone shooting macro with 24-105, you may want to contribute to this?

Well, it depends on what you want to shoot. I had used it on my 450D and I'm fine with it.

Not wide enough then go wider. Sometimes, you need to use your body and legs to zoom in and out.

Of course I love the lens but I have yet to own one myself. I hope it will come into my hands soon but not before I get my 70-200. ;p

hmm u may want to get a %RH meter to check cos i think it may be abit too dry (1 thirsty hippo should be more than enough)

It's a telephoto. Good for sports, far places that you cannot reach etc.

Eh, you can shoot the moon at 200mm. Haha! =D
