Nothing to envy really. Lots of other guys have this combo as well from what i've been seeing online.

What I must say is that I count myself incredibly lucky on having a great CFO who is supportive of my hi-fi and recent photography purchase.

Checked it out with my favorite shop.... and will be getting it later....

Seems like this is a rather solid lens, and no reason to worry about QC issue.....

First thing I appreciate, silly as it might be, is this lens is noticeably lighter than V1. My shoulders like that.

Also its insanely fast and sharp.

Yea it's about 100 odd grams lighter short shorter a tad bit but more buff..

The 1DX with the 24-70 ii is an absolute dream to work with
