hi all, is it that I can't collect the new camera on the spot..? What will be the fastest time i can collect it..? Because I'm planning to bring the new cam next wed for my overseas trip. Sigh if i can't get it before wed...

I realise shops like cash convertor are selling old eos300 at 69 bucks...and using it to buy a 50D from canon is 1509. so the actual cost price is abt 1578...the price is quite competitive with outside if it is the same package. anyone here has traded to get a 50D?

bet so, i used a canon prima zoom flim camera to get my 500D at a discount price. the offer is super worth it i can say...so i dont think u will be having problem with your film SLR

u can pay by credit card, no extra charges, which kit they are quoting u? just got mine a wk ago, kit 1 was 1111 then. but i got a kit 2. quote price inclusive of GST.

I doubt. The programme is meant for....."Oh, your equipment is beyond repair. Let me allow you to upgrade what you have so that you can continue to enjoy the same "functions" that your equipment provided for you." Even for lens, they will only allow you to upgrade to the "similar" lens. Eg 28-70 to a 24-70. You cannot say oh 28-70 to 24-105 and etc. If they have the same lens still in production, then you can only upgrade/change to that same lens.

still is quite a good deal...getting back a new lens with 1 year warranty..top up a bit is cheaper than repairing or getting the extended warranty so long lens they sell is brand new and not refurbished

price quote for kit2 was $1,667. i got a kit2, cause i think its more worth it. 950 for 450D kit1? you must as well pay $60 more for a newer 500D right? ;p
so what did you get in the end?
