hey guys, just saw Canon has already put up the 7D on its website. I believe it is either already in stores or at least on their way to stores as I type here. Can't wait man!!!

Well done, Canon, well done! They probably figured that most Singaporeans are newbies who have no need for body only cameras, unlike the rest of the world.

Looks like I'll spend a small fraction of the money set aside for 7D on other stuff, and save the rest. For sure, I won't be getting the 7D for another year or longer until the price drops to something close to 2k and all the QC/bug/firmware issues are ironed out etc etc

This is not uncommon and i have to say they are damn good at it.in the events business,a lot of ppl knows these china man also dissect big names like nexo and martin's audio and lighting equipment.they easily costs more than 2k to 10k. They then self made their own at similar design but a lot cheaper. So cheap that ppl don't mind buying and use.spoilt just buy new one.maybe soon we will see imitation dslr with similar function.
