Canon 7D arrival time

I played with a 7D at John 3:16 this afternoon.

I went there merely to put my name down to reserve a body when they got stock. I was completely surprised to find out that they got a few in stock and had sold all of them expect the one I played with.

What can I say... great camera! I currently have the 50D and the 7D "feels" better. The shutter sounds quieter and more "relaxed". They allowed me to pair it with the 85 f/1.8. What a combination! I loved the resulting photos. I only got a chance to play with it for about 5 minutes and although I was tempted, didn't buy it as I want to sell the 50D first.

This camera will not disappoint.

Yo. Manage to collect my body and macro just now. First impression was :bigeyes:. The "Feeling" on 7D is so good. Feel like the hand can hug the body. There are more to explore with this 7D in the coming days. Now deep reading into the manual. :bsmilie:

BTW, the 100mm 2.8L macro was sharp and focus fast. Better than the older 100mm. Can't wait to do portrait with it.

Guys, FYI got mine BODY ONLY set from CP today @ $2499 inc GST. Did a pre order from CP before launching, parisilk call me around 7pm today say they still have BODY ONLY sets, but very limited selling at $2480 inc GST

As for CP dont think got BODY ONLY left. call parisilk before going down.

got my 7d body from CP at 2499. but no BG-E7 yet...

Like phoakm, 1st impression after holding it for the 1st time is fantastic... solid-built quality feeling... still yet to play with it as still charging the battery...

no compatible battery for LP-E6 though... bought another battery from CP as well... original Canon batt can be really ex.... hahaha

I wanted to reserve one yesterday, but Samuel said not to worry....hopefully he had one for me, as I told I'd be down there tmr...

the price is abit higher, cause i at it evening when to john 3:16 they selling price at $3000 , if with kit $3400 wow..
it's very near to full frame camera..

why dun just considering to get the 5D MK 2 ??
for 5d MK2 at only $3600~3700, if you already have own EF lens.

You must be joking! The RRP is only $2699 for body only, they couldn't have priced it that way, unless they dun want to sell to you...
