no need.. as i was discussing with rocfreak just now, i was telling him abt me not having a tripod.. and he say's its ok la.. since we moving ard.. and even with dark/poor lighting, its not difficult for our trusty 50mm to handle.. LOL right??

depends how dark. if you want to get ok shots, then i suppose you could do without a tripod. but if you want to get great shots, better to carry one.

I 2nd dat. Me and Fatah tried indoors at Museum in very low light condition ..... the "old Film' section. Wahhhh need support like wall or kneeling down long time with many shots to get one ok shots. Offcos jacking up iso to 1600 will help.

May join you guys, now abt to leave for my Punggol Sunrise.

Alright boys, just browse thru the newspaper.. and came across a big page that says..The IT show is HERE!!..its from tmr till sunday.. so wipped out your GST money, load your knowledge and go shoot your way during the fair.

Those considering to buy portable harddisk, now's the time.. if i were you, dont waste time with the GB.. one shot get the 1TB. at 100plus, i think its worth it.. can store enuf photos to past down your children's grandchildren's to see.. haha

TB sounds great. but it'll be disasterous if it decides to fail you.

I read about this somewhere, the article suggest you have a few 'smaller' capacity rather than 1 big single one, this include the SD card too. it make sense to me.
