Bro Mahathir, if let say if die die i can't get my camera on saturday, then i have to back out from the zoo outing..

Hey bro.. I've been thinking of doing that as a form of income for some time.. Just waiting for enough funds hehe.. But i was thinking more on the mobile studio thing.. Meaning we have backdrops+stand+lights that we can transport anywhere.. We can do it at clients homes, where they can be more comfortable.. They have a choice lah, so to speak..

Is there any diff in quality for a RAW whose exposure has been adjusted compared to one with 'near perfect' exposure which do not need adjustment?

I think it depends on your definition of quality and also on the ability of the software to edit the RAW files properly. If you caught the exposure perfectly .. then your final output is EXACTLY what the camera saw. Assuming the only difference is exposure .. you should be able to post process the RAW to add/remove exposure level and get back the same shot. The only caveat is how good your software is at modifying the exposure of the shot so it is not adding noise or artifacting etc.

If you are using JPG .. then the story is different. You can lose a lot of details that cannot be recovered in post-process for jpg if your original exposure was totally over or underexposed.

thats the problem.. i was thinking of settling things one by one.. cos the backdrop settle means lighting comes next.. and since i using my attic as the "studio", theres not much natural light there.. i read somewhere that you can make your own reflector with aluminium foil and cardboard.. but i also need a diffuser and bright light in order not to cast a dull shadow on the model/object. any other suggestions?
