wonder as well...

does every food item sold in sg have to go thru test before import, and after initial test, ok, then no problem forever?

They (AVA) claim that everything into Singapore will go throught the STICTEST test imposed by them, and what goes into our stomachs are very safe.

Sometimes I wonder how safe this is, as I've not heard that they have found something unsafe for consumption so far. It's always from overseas that this kind of news came from, and then AVA starts to check from their side. You mean we are always so lucky that such stuffs never came into Singapore?

I dun think its the 'plastic' sheet to my knowledge it is rice paper!

They mention about real n fake one how we differentiate them?
U ever heard of the proverb "Sheng Si You Ming, Fu Gui Zai Tian"? ;p

If u're meant to die, u can be eating abalone every day and u'll still croak. Every Emperor that yearned to live long/forever never lived past the age of 55. The only exception would be one of the Manchu Emperor that died at abt 80yrs of age.

it's okay!!! we can eat them!!

can we make our own from condensed milk? :P i think that would be a lot more tasty

真真假假,假假真真
真的不假,假的不真
假得很真,真得很假
不知真假,假真不知

kaoz... i wrote another poem again...

*need patent again...

My favourite sweet is the teddy bear gummies from tat 'Natural Confectionary Company'

And 'sour peach heart' gummies from 'Candy Empire' shop

guess it's old news by now, but ava tested and found nothing wrong. according to some reports on the net, independent agencies tested the sweets overseas and also didn't find anything.

i think our guys do their own testing, but if another govt raises an alarm then they test again to be sure.

Singapore garmen so 'proactive'. Hehehe.
