this is damn sian.... i'm thinking of going australia to buy the E-PL5... did a search online i see some australia online stores selling like around S$900 for the camera + kit lens... or about S$800 body alone....

however i also read about buying "grey imports" in some countries will end up not covered by warranty...?

but olympus has worldwide warranty.... anyone got experience with olympus international warranty with these "grey market" imports...? i don't think i'll be able to tell whether it's grey import or not if i buy the camera overseas...

I actually thought rrp is 998. Usd699 is rrp, so 998 sounds more reasonable. If it's 1098 it's really getting expensive for pen lite. Iirc, epl3 was 998/9 locally and usd699 as well.

Recently, shops here are selling at RRP for new camera.
I wonder did all shops gang together to sell at RRP.
Singapore was once a place where foreigners came here to buy electronics products because of the low price. Today it is one of the most expensive.
