wow it's back at USD599 ah... don't count on IT show to have this sort of price... last IT show E-PL5 wasn't even offered while they are clearing old E-PL3 stocks... you probably gotta wait for many IT shows later to get any sort of cuts in the prices...

Oh no the epl5 prices in amazon is now back to 650++ usd from 599...

the prices seems to fluctuate between $599 and $649... it was $599 for a while since black friday... then it went up to $649 before dropping back to $599 again... and now it's back at $649...

so i'd suggest anyone who wants to it but not urgent to buy... to just wait for prices to drop back...

Hi EPL5 users, I have been playing around with video mode but it seems that the AF of the camera is quite bad. Everytime I start moving, the focus goes totally out and takes long to start re-focusing. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Probably in C-AF mode, if so, can use S-AF mode, focus spot will stay till the next time you re-focus by half-pressing shutter button.

I think I got the wrong impression that such cam can be a full pledge camcorder. Was thinking of using this for a family event but with so much effort required to re-focus everytime, it could be a pain to watch the video in the end...

G3 / G5 / GH3 / GH2 is the answer. Panny is better in this area
