hehe~
been a while since I read tagalog, I'm rusty.

Originally from Greenhills, Metro Manila. :)
Ruthie: i just came back from manila on the 4th Jan, hehe you should have mentioned your penchant for Chippy. I did bring back a small bag of Cheez Curls tho! ^_~ and Selecta Ice cream.... and dried mangoes/ guyabano ^_^

ice cream's gone, would you care for some sour apple or mangoes? hehe.

What i miss the most is the Palabok! Cooking it here never tastes the same. Someone PLEASE franchise Jollibee!

and filipino CSers, can we please so more pics of the scenic Philippines? Most people don't think of the Philippines as beautiful.

I just went to Tagaytay Highlands & Cebu. They are among the most beautiful places I've ever seen!( even compared to Alaska & Europe)

Someone take pics of Burakai, Bagio and other beautiful places that foreigners won't get to see ( I can't remember how to spell those 2)

Manila is okay, slightly cooler than SG, but the traffic jams are :sweatsm:

Tagaytay Highlands had BEAUTIFUL weather! And the views from the apartments (belle vue) were breathtaking, you wake up and go to the balcony and watch the sunrise ( @ 5am!) and look down the mountains. Its cool enough to be comfortable even w/out a jacket, but at night its pretty chilly. I went with my extended family and it was FUN! ^_^
sun isn't as glaring over there

Cebu rained! *sob* I wanted to go to the beach.

How many bags do you want? Do you want the blue pill (chilli & cheese) or the red pill (barbeque)? :bsmilie:

PS: We're flying back to SG on 02/02.

Yep. Philippines' a nice place to visit.. but you'd have to do a fair bit of travelling -- by air, land, sea -- to really enjoy what it has to offer.

That's Boracay and Baguio. We're heading to the latter next week (and Tagaytay again by Friday). Not photography trips though... but I'll try to post some pics later. :)

Did you try Cebu's native delicacy called Masareal. Dang... I'd love to have my hands on those! It's been about 6 years that I haven't tasted one...

Too bad I can't seem to find them in Manila. I've so far seen only the other Cebu specialties like Rosquillos, Otap etc!

:Later,

Hi! Yup, graduated HS from La Salle Greenhills, then college from DLSU-CSB. San tayo dun nagkakilala?

:)
