Buying online

Hi Guys,

Anyone here have any experience buying some equipment online? I'm planning to buy a digital photo frame from amazon.com to be shipped via fedex to Singapore. The cost is around 220 USD. I think I saw somewhere here that if the item is above 400 SGD, I will be charged GST by Singapore?? Mine is 220 USD (x1.6 = 352 SGD), still below 400 SGD! Any other charges in Singapore?

Another alternative is to use vPost. They are in 'league' with amazon USA liao...

Frankly speaking, I have not try out their services. But I do intend to purchase the whole Superman DVD set through amazon when it is released. I did purchase something over eBay... Not bad I would say so...

Yup, saw that thread. But I'm eyeing on the Philips 9" digital frame which I can't find in SG. Resolution and clarity is better ;p
