erm.
1. pay in hard cash to get the best price..
2. make sure lens is in working order eg. IS working, AF works, no back/front focus etc (and sharp enough for your requirement?)
3. bring your own camera to test..
I bought my 17-55 f2.8 IS from them, no complaints. Even had international warranty
i also plan to get a L lens from them due to the price they offer... but i wonder how reliable on shop warranty... cos what if *touch wood* they "moved out" and no where to be found? it may sound stupid but this is what i worry about...
Thank you all for your advice and comments. Ok i just bought my first L lens, from this shop this afternoon. Wooo....can't belive the performance and the out come of the image! Cool man love L lenses now hahaha.
Welcome to the L family. :bsmilie:
May I know which L lens did you buy?
Hahaha thank you, i got the EF 70-200mm f2.8 L lens, non-IS one, well it's good enough for me anyway hahaha
Bro, if you wanna buy from OP, i'd recommend that you do a thorough test on the lens before buying with the intention of never going back to exchange that copy of the lens. I've bought the 24-105 F4 L from them. No regrets as i don't intent to change this copy of lens. I had never serviced my L lens in the 1st year of purchase and would regard the local 1 year warranty useless for me. Unless you are buying the latest hardware with risks of a recall by Canon, buying grey imports are pretty logical in my view.
$1680/-
Not bad!
