Your worry is valid, bro. If they "moved out" and no where to be found means your lens warranty over. Simple ;) Take it as grey set for the $$ you save. Otherwise go for warrantied copy

ya... just take will get sad over it for awhile...

Yeah though the price isn't that bad so after all the hard time saving up and all now i fianlly own one hehehe. Hahaha looks like this weekend i will be out playing with my new toy

mate, test this at the Miss World u will see the outcome and the usm working for u:thumbsup:

cos what if *touch wood* they "moved out" and no where to be found? it may sound stupid but this is what i worry about...
I went to their parent shop in Shanghai and it's pretty big... bigger than CP, bigger than AP and lots of cameras, lenses, accessories, bags, etc. Made me feel more secure about buying stuff from them as they do not look like a fly by night operation. Of course there is no guarantee that they will never go belly up, but that can happen to any business. So I'm comfortable buying from OP because I can always look them up in Shanghai if need be. In fact, probably going to buy my next lens direct from Shanghai as it's even cheaper than OP their own shop in SG.:p

It seems like the price for the 24-105 F4L IS USM is quite close to EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, so which lens will you all prefer ?

I would take the 17-55 on crop cameras, and 24-105 for FF cameras.
