Yeap, legally you are better off doing it for free There's so much rights that you can lose and obligations that you encumber yourself by accepting any miserly amount of $$.

First of all, to the 20+ idiots, that is what you are, might as well do it for free, then you can claim it's an act of charity.

I AM NOT DEAMANDING FOR ANYTHING!

I am just merely asking if anyone can fit into my bill. And the out of mind thingy is not from me.. Since you described it that way, I go along. You're insulting your fellow photographers.

And did I say $200/nett for 6 hours flat, with album, editing and all sorts of freebies? Why muz I be so detailed in my thread? Do I have the duty to explain? I dun, but I'm too upset about it mater as being accused.

And if you would like to know if I'm in financial costraint, let me tell you, I swear to god I am fedding 3 mouths with a monthly income of $1080. School fees, milk powder, household expenses, etc etc.. People who have family will know.

And excuse me, I am not asking anything from anyone. I dunno how many times I have to get this straight and I think the grown ups are worse off than my 3yo son.

If you had just come in and list down your criterias, i guess it would be less of these misunderstanding... at least give ppl the chance to blast at the correct area.

cos u see, if u dun state, ppl will just think u wan everything, if u write like a cheque with a double cross & ONLY, then ppl will say, hey this wasn't that demanding at all... suppose u just say 2 hours with 50 shots in 1 CD, no need to touch up, and can be given 1 week later. Then some nice soul would maybe shoot like a 1000 then give u a 100, and do some touch up, and give u in 3 days... u get the flow? U'll be happy, they also happy.

Anyway, congrats to threadstarter for her ROM... dun worry, not all ppl in CS is like what u have experienced so far...

I suppose when she stated a price, interested photographers can give a proposal to her on what they can provide at that price. She can then decide which is the most appropriate proposal and take that.

err, i beg to differ, but then again, both of us think differently. So does every single one else...

I guess everybody gets jumpy cos most ROM are about 2-3hours, but her's 6 hours, then she never state anything else, so everybody else assume, if u wanna ass by all means, but true enuff, everyone else thinks that since its 6 hours it would be like to include the normal package as well, which is about 100 shots on a album plus a CD, so to think it thru, 200 does not cover the cost of those material stuff correct? neither for the additional work.

and even with her latest reply, she did not indicate her exact requirement. vague requirement either 2 things will happen or both, underestimation of the supplier and overestimation of the buyer... which when differences start to occur, arguements are bound to happen like the previous incident whereby the bride goes around other forums even those HDB forums to show her wedding fotos and then comment in a very crude way of how this budding photographer shot unprofessionally.
