Remember to spare some budget for miscellaneous spending like... macro lighting, macro sliding mount for tripod, ... etc.

you ll need a nail file too since you din get the tokina...

Not necessary to get nikon TCx1.4, can consider kenko DG X 1.4xTC, got very good feedback on it.

:thumbsup: used the canon mount version before. I concur, this is a very good TC and reasonably priced.

Macro ain't easy as I can see. Macro rail on tripod, ring flash and hopefully in near future...someone to invent a remote controller to pause the insect's movement. LOL

Nail filer will be an issue.. Perhaps I can use 11-16 tokina as a substitute!

Kenko is about 1/3 the price! Wow Believe if I don't crop my pic too much, this is a good choice as well!
