I'll be testing my 135 f/2 with a 25mm uniplus extension tube and the new gitzo explorer tripod.
See if my non dedicated macro lens can match yours in use or not, hahaha!

Oops, I don't means getting more magnification when I say "match".
Taking a minimum of 58 * 87 mm size object is enough for me most of the time.
Image quality (which should be at a similiar level) and ease of use is. (sure lose a bit la)
Working with macro on 35mm means a few mm or even less DoF, newbies like me really don't dare to shoot too small area. (as the DoF decrease dramatically when the magnification increase)

By the way, if there's a butterfly at 0.6m away, (you can't go nearer for whatever reason) who can get larger magnification? (using D30's 1.6 does not change magnification on imager)the 100/2.8U or my 135? hahaha!
Don't take the joke too seriously.

It has been a hot sunny day.
The gitzo explorer have really did what it promised - versatility.
Those of u who have seen me will notice the odd position that I manage to get for macro shots.
My film are in scanning now, will be back in a few days.
From the negative there seems to be at least a few good shots. (hopefully)
