A lot of ppl say its soft wide open. But I find it ample sharp. Its lower contrast than modern lenses. Bokeh is quite good but still doesn't touch d Leica Noctilux's level. Just my 2 cents worth.
 

Of course it can't be compared to any of the Noctilux 50mmm, but for what it is worth I think it delivers amply ;).
 

Taken with Fujifilm XF56mm f1.2, effectively 85mm f1.8 DOF on full frame.

Thanks bro, APS-C still cannot compete with full frame bokeh. Not thinking about FF now as i've invested quite a bit on XF lens, at least take 3 years for ROI.

Can't wait for d full frame Fuji X n d full frame 50ish f/1.2 lens. D DOF will b as thin as my MC Rokkor 58/1.2. Love d Fuji colors bro.

Bro. D main advantage of ff is more of d DOF than Bokeh.
