Big drop in Canon Lens Price

ppl already put EQUOTE....

What is the meaning of EQUOTE? mean go to shop cant get this pricing??
Sorry for asking, because yesterday went down to buy but can not get the price ...

Maybe really not understand what the difference of pricing for go shop directly and EQUOTE...

I bought my 50 f1.8 from JO 3:16 at $120 in early Jun 2008.

Probably you can try and tell them that u got an E-Quote stating the price is less den tat leh? DUn forget, the price I've gotten is before GST!

Finally bought the EF 70-200 F4L IS from cathay marina at $1525 by cash. Price updated in the lens section. :D

EQuote means - Email Cathay and they Quote you ;)

I think Cathay salesmen are given the choice to reply you via email & decide upon themselves how much commission they are willing to forgo juz to cling your deal. However, it may not be the best price coz I experienced that before and after buying from the so-call "E-quoted" price, some places sell much cheaper! :sticktong (no service needed juz get & go)

"If you want service, dun expect cheapest. If you want cheapest, service is redundant"

:sweatsm: Didn't catch that the first time.

This is definitely more powerful then Hubble Telescope for sure, which only has focal lenght of 57.6 m, and this one with zoom all the way to 250m somemore.

So these places that you say which sell much cheaper, care to share the name & location? Does is also offers warranty, i.e. not grey set?

a tonne is too light.... the diameter of the lens is gonna be more than 45m.;p:bsmilie:
