Update on the extra battery: Just called OSC today (19 Feb 2010), and they told me that there's no promotion on the extra battery for E-P2. Now need to go back to J3:16 and figure out what happened.

Just bought the Olympus E-P2 kit at Harvey Norman Funan Centre basement level. I think it's a good deal. Olympus E-P2 kit with 14-42mm f3.6-5.6, EVF, Kingston 8Gb SDHC class 4, LCD screen protector film and one extra original battery collect on the spot. $1598 include GST. I bought the additional Olympus FL-14 flash at $99 and also bought a 40mm UV lens protector at $38. MS Color is selling at $1560 without extra battery. After, I went to Crumpler and bought a 4 million dollar camera bag at $102. Fits the E-P2 nicely. I'm very satisfied with the camera. I had been contemplating in buying the Panasonic GF1 and Olympus E-P2. Although, E-P2 autofocusing is a bit slow but it will be improved with the upcoming firmware update in April 22. I just love the art filters especially the Diorama. The in-built image stabilizing is great for any attach lens. I can live without a in body flash and fast focusing of the Panny. I can't live with a camera without stabilization. Therfore, final choice is the Olympus E-P2.

I had been served by a great sales guy by the name of Freddy. So if you going down to buy the E-P2 or E-P1, do look out for him for his good service. Olympus E-P1 is also going at a very good price at Harvey Norman. For those thinking of buying the budget model E-PL1, I wouldn't recommend it as the camera body is plastic and not like E-P2 and E-P1 which is metal. E-PL1 feels like a toy and dummy point and shoot camera. Next, I will be buying the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake prime lens for me E-P2. For now, my love is the Olympus E-P2

I happen to be at alan photo and was told that the price for EP2 14-42 was around $1280++. and 17mm was 1550.
But today my friend went to checkout the price, he told him it was 1530 for 14-42

Thats a major price different
I am going to get it tml, hopefully the price would remain the same

I just got mine from SLR Rev for 1528 with no free gifts. Pancake lens and with evf. Then went to chiif cameras to get the pentad c lens.
