This is indeed a very fast focusing lens, very sharp with nice bokeh.

This is a must get lens for everyone in m43.

Agreed. Paired it with my G3, this makes it a formidable low light portrait gear.

when looking through this lens, we can see very big opening, this is very much similar to my Canon 35mm f1.4 .

comparing to my Panasonic 20mm F1.7, when looking through the lens, only can see a small opening.:think:

I am not sure the big opening contribute to faster focusing with more light able to enter and reach the sensor faster, but definitely i feel very shiok about this big opening.

Here is a comparison between Panasonic 20mm F1.7 and Oympus 45mm F1.8 (notice how big the whole you can see through in th 45mm)

can anyone use this in video (preferably with a panny) and see if there are focussing issues? someone in dpr forums using a GH2 mentioned he was having focussing issues during video. If no issues, i'll buy tomorrow..

Well bro, the 12mm and 45mm were made for EP3 (esp silver), so its no horse run one.
