Trade for 20mm lor :D 2x crop does make it challenging. Pictures from it can be rewarding though

Well, its not 'normal' :D

Its a longer FL, so it will be harder, but what it can produce is real nice.
Force yourself to just use this lens for a week, you'll get used to it.

I had fun using it for candid shots of people just yesterday.

ANyone know is the any stock and what is the current price? I'm still thinking of getting this or the Pana 25mm. Thanks

Its about $410 - $450 (depending on shops). Those shops in funan should have a few sets left :)

Thanks. Please advise, 45mm or 25mm?? Use to have a 90mm lens for my SLR years ago. Like the head to shoulder shot.

If u like the 90 mm fov, then the answer is easy. Go for the 45 mm. For that price, the compactness, lightness, sharpness, bokeh, n how it looks on the PENs, it's a no brainier. I consider it a must have. The 25 mm is also very good, but it's a larger lens, I personally think it does not look as nice in the PENS, and the fov is more for group shots than head n shoulder shots.

Thanks for all your advices. Well, I will be heading to Funan after CNY to look a 45mm.

To add on, I have the 45mm and am really enjoying shooting with it. However, I recently acquired the 25mm and personally find it a lot more enjoyable to shoot with (makes you want to just keep shooting and shooting even if there's nothing to shoot). I also find head to shoulder shots a lot easier as I don't need to stray too far from my subject, who are usually people I know, so I tend to be nearby them. Not to mention the colour rendition and the bokeh on the 25mm are really pleasing to the eye.
Of course, I also do lots of streets and that's where the 45mm comes in handy for the head to shoulder shots of total strangers since you can stay a distance away and still pull off the shot.

I find this 45mm lens just too close to really get good expression out from subject, am currently using K mount 77mm F1.7 for this purpose instead, 77mm range is more suited for me when shooting head shoulder portraits as it is at a more comfortable distance. Awaiting a new m43 autofocus fast lens for portraits.. hoping this year.

I m sure the TS is getting confused now. The TS is asking betw 25 n 45 mm. For head n shoulder shots, 45 mm on m4/3 is actually perfect. U are standing abt 2-3 m away from the subject. If u shoot with 25, u gotta go close n some girls get worried bec they it will b too close. 45 mm gives u a comfortable shooting distance for events. Of course for model shoots, u can go more if u got the space.

Thanks. I've make up my mind, I will get a 45mm, just like my old 90mm on my SLR years ago. Most subject (men or ladies) feel more comfort when you stand further away while taking photo.

Good on you to be able to make a clear choice.
