The backgrounds are nice and smooth. Can you do a 100% crop on your sharpest bird image? Curious how defined the feathers are

Went to slr revolution at funan yesterday, they have stock, cash 410

I also got my 45mm F.18 last week from Parisilk and I was told it was the last piece as well!! haha... Anyway it's really a true Zuiko gem of a lens, absolutely no regrets buying this.

I have been trying to get my hands on the B+W UV filter too but both AP and TK said no more stock of the silver one not even the black one. Checked the usual other shops too and they have no stock as well. May I ask for those who got it for $45 or $50, is it MRC(Multi coat) or SRC(Single coat) and F-pro or Dig-pro? Thanks!

I think Oly 45mm fits well with Pana body as well. Fast lens, so IS is no issue......often @F1.8, speed in excess of 1/1000.

If you look at some of my test shots on this thread.. i use a GH2 and with the 45mm and i shoot as low as 1/30 without issues. Of course your hand must be steady.. for video, lack of OIS may be an issue if you shoot handheld. with Tripod/monopod, no issues.

I using it on G3.
Not really an issue with its fast aperture and G3's pretty good high ISO performance. Seldom get low shutter speeds that make camera shake an issue.

Anyone knows where I can get a 37mm B+W silver filter for the lens? No luck at the usual shops.
