is the speedlite international warranty also?
If you want to get the international certificate directly from the vendor, you will need to be certain who are the authorized distributors of Tamron in HK. I don't use Tamron so I have no prior experience on this. The best way to find out is to ask the shop whether they can exchange the local warranty card to the international one before you buy.Hello CS Tan
can I check can we get the international warranty cert for tamron lens frm the vendors itself.
Please enlighten me abt this.
price.com.hk is just a website that collects all the pricing info. You will see the individual shops with the price they sold their products. Be careful about the smaller/unknown ones, you need to be sure they are not "baiting" the buyers with super low price. Having said that, if you want to find a good bargain, you will need to take some risk but at the end it is how careful you are dealing with those smaller/unknown shops. If you don't want to take that risk, stay away from them and just go with the reputable shops.Hello CSTan
I was looking at price.com.hk website. Is this just a website or a shop? If it a shop, where is it located in HKG? I'll be leaving for HKG this Sun 11 July.
Thanks.
Hi Inevitz, just want to check with you on the international warranty of your S90, did you need to exchange the local 1-yr warranty card with the 6-month tourist warranty? I have never done that before but Canon HK told me all Canon compacts carries only local (HK) warranty. However, Canon does provide 6-month tourist warranty but I need to go to Canon service centre to do the exchange. Can you help clarify? Thanks. Not sure if this will spoil market or help but yeah this is what i got from my recent trip from HK.
1) Sigma 8-16mm @ SGD890 from Tin Chueng(however the crap to spell this lol)
2) Tamron 17-50mm VC @ SGD600 from Echo Photo & Audio (really reccomend this shop)
3) Canon S90 for my gf @ SGD480 from Echo Photo & Audio (good cause it comes with Int Warranty)
4) Canon 430EXII @ SGD350 from Xing San smth.. =X
