Availibility of D800 in Singapore (Part 2)

Wow! I agree, maintaining the sensitivity only let other shops charge higher. Any idea how much SLRR is selling D800E for?

Sorry didn't ask. Was more interested in the 800 ;p

well .... let's break the sensitivity. Competition among them works well to our advantage I think and my hesitancy in purchasing a copy dropped significantly when they told me about the selling price.

SLRR was selling it for $3750 nett. Just got mine today :)

Warranty with Nikon Sg if you're wondering.

Incl GST right? alamak...got into the habit of asking also..hehe
btw..if now D800 selling at this price..i wonder why the second hand mart still selling $3800-3900 arh?

Not everyone reads this thread or is updated with latest pricing

I like the direction of which the price of the D800 is going!

Yes this is good news :)

Although I bought mine at a higher price 1.5 months ago, I have zero regrets cos I could have never gone back to capture those missed moments again.

come on everybody .... why regret ? how about ppl who bought above 4k or at RRP like me ?? bang head to wall ?
hahahaha just enjoy, shoot more and share more :)

make me kind of regret when I purchase my D800 at 3.9k, oh well enjoy my hobby & shoot more...

3.9k still a good price! Prices of electronics will always drop, in a years time prob worth 50% less... Just enjoy the cam :)

ya true... was tempted to get the E initially....

price and the non e is already sharp enough for me... I do not wish to spend time removing moire

lol, well there is nothing to remove. Shops are selling the E for $4.4k. No point in buying the non-E I think.

I haven't got any moire yet after about 3,000 shots

Hi Slow Trekker.

My serial number is 80175xx. Seems like quite far removed from yours.
