To be an Arsenal supporter these days , a healthy dose of optimism is a pre-requisite. So we'll keep believing until.......... forever. :bsmilie:

I just hope that Wenger and the players will move on and get prepared for the next challenge at OT, instead of blaming the referee which is pretty useless now..
As Ahbian mentioned, there are still 2 compeition to go. We still have changes to champion the PL

They will because mentally, I think they are strong and they had showed us. I was wondering why did the ref not able to see so many neck grabbings going on. Especially the on the Dani Alves did on Nasir, the ref was right infront.

Lets face it guys. Nothing is going to happen for us in the next 2 seasons even. Well, that could even be a little too positive. We played against a 2nd or third string Man United. We lost by two goals. Please dont use the excuse that its at Old Trafford. Even if it was at Wembley, we would have lost. We will end the season with the way we started - NOTHING.

As an Arsenal supporter its almost a sense of deja vu. This is the exact same thing (crashing out of cup competitions, losing steam in the crucial part of the season, throwing away the championship) that happened to the team for the past 4-5 seasons. And EVERYTIME it happens, AW always say the exact same thing to the media and fans. Only I cant prove it, but I could have sworn AW recites his script from his 'Defeated post match speeches' folders. I dont know which is more troubling, always losing crucial matches, or expecting the team to lose before they do so.
Their performance against Barca at Nou Camp was atrociously bad. Thou I didnt watch last night's match against Man U, I was already anticipating a loss to the RD.
Gotta give credit to Man U for bouncing back so quickly after their loss to Liverpool.
As much as I hate to say this, but I think AW is really out of 'ideas' and the best thing for the club is actually to have him replaced. Make no mistake I still respect him and admire him for his contributions over the years, but the only way for the club to progress and start winning trophies is to let him go and bring freshness to the club once again.
I might even support the idea of *gasp* Jose Mourinho to be the manager of Arsenal.
Flame me if you want, but I remain a fan to Arsenal. However, I dare say that they are going to go empty handed AGAIN this season, and unless radical changes are made to the club, it will continue to happen for the next few seasons.

I think calling for Wenger's head is bit far fetched already, im not sure who would want (or even suitable) to get onto the hot seat. Many of the past Gunners legends have called on Wenger to bring in quality signings, but to no avail. He's now suffering from a thin squard of mediocre players now. I just hope he brings in players coming transfer window, as most of the young talents are still out on loan for much needed experience. I am just worried the current stars would start a mass exodus, that would be a total overhaul and building around Wilshere and Ramsey ...if they stay, that is. We need a talismanic player, doesnt matter which position on the field, in the past we had big characters like Tony Adams, Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, Vieira, even the less high profile players would step up in the superstars' absence through injuries, had a big heart and appetitie for the game and would still instil fear in opposing teams, eg. Parlour, Petiti, Overmars, Keown, Seaman, Pires.

Today? Needless to say much, once the stars are out with injuries, the rest become 'easy pickings' for opponents.

Still i would support the same club that had captured my heart since the Ian Wright days, bleed red & white, Gunners 4 Life!

Sigh... Diaby and Arshavin was like walking around at Old Trafford see see look look. Really disappointed with their attitude. No sense of urgency. I think a down form Rosicky will be even much better.

Actually yesterday squad is as good, just that no urgency. Left flank was an easy target for Man Utd, once Diaby pushed, never run back likewise for Arshavin, super duper slack. If they had clamped it down our opponent might be limited in space. Everytime Diaby and Arshavin starts, the whole team like lost it's will to fight. Anyway, it's a good thing also because they can concentrate on the league now. Hope TV will be back very soon, the news of DJ is not very promising.

This is how I feel too. still a gooner and will continue to be one no matter what..

Terrible. went on holiday 2 weeks... come back and they have loss the carling cup and out of champion league and FA cup... but heck lah. Arsenal play attractive football so i'll keep on supporting them. if they go back to George Graham's 1-0 era then maybe i'll reconsider my support even if they are winning all the time.

I supported Arsenal since 1978 when I was 12. That year, they lost the FA Cup final to Ipswich 1-0. I remembered I cried that night :cry:, but never switch camp. I'm 45 now, still a Gooner today. There has been many heartbreaking matches I watch but lots of great moment and joy I got as well for supporting the Gunners all these years. Whatever happened this season or in future, it will never change my love for this club.

Let us all remain positive and patient. This season is not over yet. It will eventually come, if not in this seasons, there will always be next, then next, next....
