Arsenal Football Club - The Gunner's Thread 2

Not Gunner related, but interesting fact to share.

The Curse of Robbie Keane. Noticed that every EPL club that Robbie Keane has left on transfer has got relegated subsequently?

Conventry, Wolves, Leeds.

Spurs next? :o

Seem like the curse of losing games in ex-Soviet states is still well and alive ... we're currently 1 goal behind Kiev ... a penalty scored by Ismael Bangoura ... come on Gunners!

Gallas replied for the Gunners with an equaliser in the 88th minute! Go Gunners!

The tired Gunners will be visiting the Reebok's later this evening ... the lads are bound to be tired after the away game @ Kiev in addition to the fact it's not been one of our favourite hunting grounds for the last few seasons ...

This will really test the depth of our reserve! Go Gunners!

going to be another victory already.
gallas poor marking in the 1st half worries me...

i hope its not another case of "peaking too early, and burning out later"

but the gunners really 'woke up' after bolton scored the first goal. :bsmilie:

Beat the **** out of Bolton!!!!

Was there ever any doubt....?? ha ha :)

Yeah ... it was a great result ... all we need now is consistency so as not to make the same mistakes as last season!

Now lets hope Clichy's injury is not too serious. We don't really have a good cover for his position.

rotation is a must to prevent burnouts later in the season.
but i don't understand why AW loan out the only fit left back we have...

Time to turn our attention (briefly) to the Carling Cup tie in mid-week ... I'm sure our reserves are raring to have a go @ Sheffield United ...

Go Gunners!

Wow ... we've scored 5 goals against Championship side Sheffield Unite at the moment ... Bendtner (2), Vela (2) and Wilshere are all on the score sheet!

Final score is 6-0 with Vela scoring a hat trick! Let's look forward to the visit of Hull City @ The Emirates! Go Gunners!

The way that Vela takes his goals....really quite impressive.

Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea all posted wins earlier. Lets hope we can keep pace.
