the team has collectively given up on the title chase completely :angry:
midfield can't even hold the ball. how many times see the wigan players steal the ball off their feet. defence don't even know where the ball or opponents are. goalkeeper forgot how to catch ball.

As much as Spurs is the traditional rivals, I rather they get the fourth spot rather than Man City. So extra incentive to beat them in the next game.
Goodness known how much Man City will spend to attract the top players, who will be more willing to come if it gets into Champions League.

For the 2nd goal from Wigan, GK should punch the ball away rather than catching it.
Indeed, Arsenal need a good GK and some good new players.
For Given, maybe there is a chance to get him next season if Arsenal want him.

Haven't you observed that Arsene only likes tall lanky goalie. He rejected Paul Robinson when he was England No 1 before. If the player is willing, I am sure Arsene would buy and put beanpole Peter Crouch in goal.
I am hoping Arsene will buy big name established and experience players in the likes of Raul, Ruud van Nisterool, Claude Makerlele. Even the likes of Sulley Muntari , Stephen Appiah would be good additions. They need solid anchor midfielders and prolific goal scorers to complement the young players that they have. Arsenal is also a bit soft legged in the center of the pitch.
But as of now, we are hearing another young striker from Bordeaux and a keeper from Lyon.
When will the man learn that he cannot win anything with a team of boys and he has to stop preying on young boys from his home country on the cheap.
