Mr Brown makes us more honest with ourselves. That, is something we couldn't bring ourselves to do.

Sigh ... this really shows that Singaporean cannot appreciate sarcasm or satire ... and cannot laugh at ourselves .... how to be creative and be like the Paris of SE Asia??? (quoting MM):dunno:

Ppl can choose what they like or believe in lor...jus becoz somebody doesn't agree with u doesn't mean they dunoe certain stuff lor..... ppl keep talking about freedom in thinking, yet this same grp of ppl refuse to accept wat others think wif grace....

No I am not his fan...tho I check in everyday for updates.

I find some of his podcasts meaningful, but some are really stupid and boring, especially the recent few.

I agreed with you! Different people got different preferences =) Personally, his works dun interest me. And that's just me who find his "jokes" boring. hee

i dont find his blog particularly interesting to be honest..

for quick scintillating read... rockson.blogspot.com

he lost his job due to some remarks made while working for the Today newspaper.
what does that tell us? there is never freedom of speech. Neverrrrrrrr.....

You dun say...

WELCOME TO SINGAPORE!!!!

the quality of the podcasts have seem to drop a lot recently. a lot of tired jokes predictably playing on contemporary issues affecting the 'average' singaporean. even the now-standard 'outtakes' at the end of every podcast sound so fake and contrived.

i don't like the inclusion of ruby pan either. although i get the jokes they are trying to put across, she just don't sound humourous to me.

just some b*tching from a fan who have heard better days :bsmilie: (eg. zhng my car 6 and the carpark aunty were a hoot!)

talkingcock.com on the other hand...
:bsmilie:

i really hate hearing this ruby pan on the show =P

the recent podcast playing on the m'sian microchip heist was funny lol

Before Mr Brown, there are the Wang Sa and Ya Fong of the black and white TV era....
then we have the "Big Mouth" before he met an accident and passed away...
then of course Jack Neo and team...
Boring to some, but popular with the masses.
Dont you know there is probably another Mr Brown here in the CS forum?...:bsmilie:

I'm sure you all know the trend of everything rises in SG. Do you think the rise is reasonable? "Give you money then take away from you again".
Somehow, someone must speak up.

Mr Brown ! I love him. His humour is my type of Humour. I find him the best comedian to hit on local politics , ever. I laugh so much when i hear his podcasts. People who haven heard, you got to listen to him. Hitting on local stuff, making skits to make fun n slam the Govt n organisations on SG. Makin sarcastic conversations all the time. Its wat i really like to hear.

But this kind of humour is subjective, some ppl wont get it, some ppl get it but get offended. Some dun have any sense of humour at all. Some just dun understand english. Mean time. Enjoy!!!. Heard by 100 over thousand ppl everymonth.
